AC Milan have signed England midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek. This was announced by the Champions League semi-finalist of the past season early on Friday evening. The 27-year-old, whose working papers in London were dated until 2024, is moving from Chelsea to the Rossoneri and has signed a contract there until June 30, 2027.
According to media reports, Milan should pay the equivalent of around 16 million euros plus bonuses as a transfer for Loftus-Cheek to the Premier League club. The right-footer trained with the Blues played 25 league games last season, the Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano according to the basic fee, another four million euros in bonus payments.
Loftus-Cheek is the eleventh player to join Milan from Stamford Bridge: most recently, Fikayo Tomori, (25) Olivier Giroud (36) and Tiemoué Bakayoko (28) have gone down this route.
