On Saturday (July 1st) Depeche Mode will play their second concert in Frankfurt’s Deutsche Bank Park. Already on Thursday (June 29th) they were on the stage of the former Commerzbank Arena and enchanted the fans, some of whom camped in the adjoining city forest the night before the concert to see Dave Gahan and the rest of the band live.
As part of their current “Memento Mori” tour, Depeche Mode have performed in numerous stadiums in recent weeks, such as in the Düsseldorf Merkur Spiel-Arena and in the Olympic Stadium in Munich. The Frankfurt concert will also take place in the open air. The French singer-songwriter Jehnny Beth will be the opening act.
Next up is Berlin.
