An agricultural vehicle burned out while fertilizing farmland in Beugen on Tuesday morning. The fire brigade was quick to act, but could not prevent the car from being considered lost.
The fire started in a potato field on the Hapseweg. An employee of a contracting company was fertilizing the potatoes. Somehow a fire started. It is unclear how that could have happened.
The man was unharmed. The contracting company will later ensure that the manure truck is removed.
