A seriously injured man was found at Karl-August-Platz in Berlin-Charlottenburg in the early evening around 6:30 p.m.
According to BZ information, the man is said to have suffered several stab wounds. He received first aid on the spot and was then taken to the hospital.

The perpetrator was still being sought in the area in the evening, and a heavily armed police force has taken up position. Sniffer dogs were also used.
The background of the act is still completely unclear, the investigation into dangerous bodily harm is being conducted by a special commissioner of the Berlin police.
