These relaxation of the corona measures will start today

On the day storm Eunice makes landfall, the Netherlands ‘step 2’ in further relaxation of the corona measures.

As of this Friday, establishments in the catering and cultural sector may remain open until 1 a.m. The closing times will be extended by three hours. Inside, a permanent seat, wearing a mouth mask and keeping one and a half meters away is no longer mandatory. However, the corona ticket must still be shown until February 25, just like in all other places where this obligation now applies, such as at professional sports competitions. In indoor locations with more than 500 visitors, a permanent seat and wearing a mouth cap is still mandatory.

The insulation advice is also changing. After a positive corona test, an isolation period of five days applies, provided the person tested positive is free of complaints for 24 hours. Until today, an isolation period of seven days was in effect.
