Arrival and parking

By car

The organizers expressly point out on the website that there is no parking around the festival. Visitors who are dependent on cars are therefore asked to park in a Park&Ride car park in the city and then travel by public transport. An overview of such parking spaces in Munich can be found on the City website.

With public transport

City bus 144 runs every 20 minutes directly to the festival site. The organizers therefore recommend the underground lines U2, U3 and U8, which stop at Scheidplatz. There you can then change to bus 144. Alternatively, you can also take the MetroBus 53 and get off at the Infanteriestraße or Leonrodplatz stops. From there it is about an eight-minute walk to the festival. The StadtBus lines 173, 177 and 178 stop at the Petuelring stop, from which you are about a 15-minute walk from the festival.

You can also get to your destination by tram: Line 12 goes to the Infanteriestraße and Leonrodplatz stops. Both are about an eight-minute walk from the festival. Lines 20 and 21 go to Leonrodplatz and the Olympiapark stop, which are a similar distance away. Tram 27 will take you to Ackermannstraße, from where you can walk to the festival in about ten minutes.

Detailed information on how to get there can be found on the Tollwood Summer Festival website.
