As of 1 July 2023, the amount of a number of benefits will be adjusted.
It’s about the:
- Participation Act
- Income Provision for Older and Partially Disabled Unemployed Workers Act (IOAW)
- Income Provision for Older and Partially Disabled Former Self-employed Persons Act (IOAZ)
- General Old Age Pensions Act (AOW)
- General Surviving Dependents Act (Anw)
- Work and Employment Support for Young Disabled Persons Act (Wajong)
- Unemployment Insurance Act (WW)
- Work and Income according to Labor Capacity Act (WIA)
- Disability Insurance Act (WAO)
- Sickness Benefits Act (ZW)
- Benefits Act (TW)
This is because these benefits are linked to the statutory minimum wage. The minimum wage increases from € 1,934.40 to € 1,995.00 gross per month. The minimum youth wages will also be revised as of 1 July 2023, which will increase by the same percentage. Child benefit will be slightly reduced in line with consumer price developments.
