Urban Swim Bruges was able to continue in the nick of time

Urban Swim Bruges is a recreational swimming trip in the canals through the city. For a moment it seemed unclear whether the event could go ahead. Until half a day before the start of the Urban Swim, there was a swimming ban on the canals in Bruges because the water was too polluted. New analyzes indicated good water quality again just in time.

Participants could choose between different distances: 250, 800, 1000 or 1350 meters. Along the course, the street band “De Vette Pistons” provided the necessary musical animation and encouragement.

Next week, the club will also organize the quarter triathlon, with 1000 meters of swimming.
