When asked about Latte Lath’s personnel, Fortuna’s sports director Klaus Allofs said: “I will not comment on every name. But there is a shortlist of interesting names. But we prefer to keep it to ourselves so as not to arouse the interest of other clubs. It’s always nicer when the names are only known when the signing is made.”

The offensive man should have switched to the Elbe if striker Robert Glatzel had made use of his exit clause by June 15. As in the previous year, the 29-year-old stayed on the Elbe. In the course of this, his contract was extended until 2027 with an improvement in salaries.
