Rocket Pond trailer convinces Metaverse experts
The company behind the Shiba Inu coin has repeatedly attracted attention within the crypto scene with its ambitious plans for “SHIB: The Metaverse”. In particular, the September 2022 presentation of Rocket Pond, one of the eleven hubs that will be part of the virtual Shiba universe, was able to impress many Metaverse peers. Rocket Pond stands as a symbol of the journey of Shiba Inu and his community: Inspired by inspiring places in the USA like Cape Canaveral or Lake Tahoe, Rocket Pond, located in a remote mountain location, promises Metaverse users an interesting mix of adventure and Relaxation.
In a related blog post, Shiba Inu wrote: “Rocket Pond gives you the feeling of a hidden mountain resort, YMCA or KOA camping vibe, with wilderness all around you mixed with modern luxury and tourism elements. Crystal clear waters with wild animals , mixed with resort buildings leading up to the mountains.” A Rocket Pond trailer released in mid-June revealed even more details. Future users can stroll over mountain streams, enjoy the mountain panorama, take yoga breaks in an Asian temple and enjoy artistic Shiba-design dog statues. The visual and acoustic design was well received by the Metaverse community, as were the technical details.
What is special about the Shiba Inu Metaverse
The Shiba Inu Metaverse differs in many ways from other contenders for pole position in the Metaverse business, most notably the Metaverse platforms Decentraland, The Sandbox, Axie Infinity and of course the Zuckerberg group Meta Platforms. One of the most significant differences is that there will be no private ownership of digital real estate and land in the Shiba Inu virtual reality world. The hubs will instead be publicly accessible in the SHIB ecosystem, distinguishing them from virtual properties with limited access rights in other Metaverse platforms. Instead, future users of the Shiba Inu metaverse can gain land in the virtual world. It is therefore not the capital cover that differentiates, but luck, who will have how many properties in the virtual Shiba world.
SHIB-Metaverse: Launch planned for the end of 2023
