After the Rammstein video: YouTuber Rezo reports on threats and hate comments

In a new video, YouTuber Rezo addresses the hostilities he experienced after his video on the Rammstein scandal — and also addresses the toxic reactions to the alleged victims.

The YouTuber Rezo comments again on the Rammstein scandal in a current video – and criticizes both the reactions of Lindemann supporters and the statement by Lindemann’s legal team.

On June 6, Rezo published a 27-minute video about the allegations against Till Lindemann, which (as is usual with the Wuppertal YouTuber) received a lot of attention. “I received 95 percent encouragement and very nice messages in which people thanked me for taking up this topic. Most of the messages were from women, you have to be very clear about that. Most of them thanked me for not ducking away from this topic in the role of a privileged man […].”

threats and hate comments

However, not all reactions were so positive, according to the 30-year-old: “But I also received hate messages. Threats that something will be done against me. Threats of being exposed – I don’t know what that means exactly. But there was nothing explicit,” said Rezo.

The YouTuber with the striking blue hair goes on to explain: “Of course, those who have received a lot more shitty comments are the women concerned. It’s not men like me shouting from the sidelines, it’s women like Kayla.” He is referring to YouTuber Kayla Shyx, who reported on her alleged experiences with Rammstein’s “Row Zero” in a video. He finds criticism and mockery of the alleged victims out of the question: “It makes me so angry”

Rezo on the statement by the Lindemann lawyers

Rezo also responds to the letter from Lindemann’s law firm Schertz Bergmann – and says that the statement denies the allegations that women have been drugged with knockout drops or alcohol, but that all other allegations are not mentioned.

He himself did not receive a warning from Lindemann’s lawyers, he explains towards the end of the video.
