Second division soccer team Eintracht Braunschweig is rebuilding its offensive after narrowly avoiding relegation. The American Johan Gomez comes from the third division club FSV Zwickau and has a contract until 2025.
Gomez moved from FC Porto to Zwickau in the summer of 2021, and the 21-year-old has scored 12 goals in 69 third division games since then.
“Johan can be used flexibly on offense and thus expands our options in attack,” said Braunschweig’s sporting director Peter Vollmann about the first external new signing of the upcoming season.
