Rafa Márquez’s men continue to prepare for the second leg of the promotion play-off against Castilla
Jordi Alba played his last game with Barça against Mallorca. After announcing that he is leaving the club after eleven seasons in the first team, he no longer played in Vigo nor did he play today in Tokyo against Vissel Kobe. The winger, however, is not yet on vacation and today he has trained with the subsidiary.
The reason is that the Catalan was summoned by the Spanish coach, Luis De la Fuente, for the final phase of the Nations League to be played next week and in which Spain will play against Italy in one of the semifinals. Alba has trained under the orders of Rafa Márquez to keep up.
The subsidiary, for its part, continues with its preparation for the second leg of the first play-off round for promotion to the Second Division. The Catalans defeated Real Madrid Castilla (4-2) in the first leg and will play the second leg next Sunday in Valdebebas.
