Fashion student Olli Autio conjured lurex into an ultralight sweater that weighs only a paltry 16 grams.
– I found some leftover yarn, from which I then started weaving this sweater. My entire collection is made from recycled materials. Autio’s ultralight sweater was featured in Aalto’s Näytös23 on Friday, May 26. to the colorful collection seen.

– In my design, I draw from my imagination and my childhood, says Autio.
Would this sweater have material for a travel outfit, when the weight limit is the deciding factor in carry-on luggage these days?
– At least this sweater would fit in a small envelope and it would be easy to deliver anywhere, Autio thinks.
