Tennis pro Tim Pütz has reached the quarterfinals in the mixed competition of the French Open.
The 35-year-old Davis Cup player and Miyu Kato from Japan defeated the French duo Elixane Lechemia and Albano Olivetti 6: 4, 6: 4.
Pütz is also in doubles at the clay court classic in Paris. With Kevin Krawietz he meets Sadio Doumbia and Fabien Reboul from France in the round of 16.
