Thorgan Hazard gets Red Court in Waregem

The Belgian Red Courts is a project in which forty football fields are being refreshed. Each Red Court has an (ex-)Red Flame or (ex-)Red Devil as ambassador. Jan Vertonghen, among others, already has a Red Court in Sint-Niklaas and Thomas Vermaelen and Femke Maes are ambassadors of the Red Court in Lokeren. The Red Court in Waregem is the fifth in total.

First Court in our province

Thorgan Hazard’s Red Court is the first in West Flanders. The site is located between the training complex of Essevee and Waregem Expo. Thorgan Hazard played for SV Zulte-Waregem from 2012 to 2014 and scored 21 goals and 29 assists in 90 games. At Essevee, Hazard also won the Golden Shoe in 2013.
