Explosions took place at three different branches of money exchange offices Suri-Change in Amsterdam last night. It concerned buildings on Jan Evertsenstraat in West, Eerste van Swindenstraat in East and Bijlmerdreef in Southeast.

According to a police spokesman, the explosions took place ‘in quick succession’ around 3:00 am. “There are no injuries anywhere, but there is a lot of damage.”
Police are investigating whether the intention was to steal or to intimidate. Forensic detectives have investigated traces. Officers have not yet arrested anyone.
About two months ago, the head office of Suri-Change was opened in Rotterdam invaded by the police. The company’s website is now up offline.
