option drawn
Everton have withdrawn their option to extend Abdoulaye Doucouré’s contract. As the Premier League club threatened with relegation announced on Tuesday evening, the 30-year-old central midfielder is now tied to the “Toffees” until 2024. With a market value of 12 million euros, he was previously one of the top 15 most valuable players in the English House of Lords with the working paper ending. Doucouré joined Everton from Watford FC for €22m in 2020 and has made 94 appearances since then.
#EFC can confirm we have activated the option to extend Abdoulaye Doucoure’s contract until the end of June 2024.
