Leonie ter Braak gave her former colleague Carrie ten Napel quite a fright by indicating a few seconds before a live broadcast that she urgently needed to defecate. “Shameless.”
Years ago, Carrie ten Napel and Leonie ter Braak co-presented the TV program En Dan Nog Even Dit for regional broadcaster RTV Oost. They became friends there. And in that capacity, Carrie recorded a video message for Leonie, which aired yesterday in Rooijakkers on the Floor on RTL 4.
Leonie has to poop
Carrie reveals how Leonie behaves behind the scenes. “Leo, oh, I can tell so much about you. We laughed so much together and one thing I can remember very well and that is that we were right before live, there was a countdown… 5, 4, 3, 2 and at that moment you said casually: ‘I have to defecate.'”
It resulted in the broadcast being quite messed up. “I think it took me fifteen minutes to recover from the giggles. The guests at the table really looked at us: what is wrong with them?!”
Leonie undresses
EenVandaag presenter Roos Moggré then also comes with an anecdote about Leonie. “It was so nice to work with you, especially in the morning in the make-up. I have rarely laughed so much and so often so early. What I like about you is that you have virtually no or at least little physical shame, let me call it that.”
She continues: “What I always liked is that after the conversations in the studio you always spontaneously started to undress while the guests were still there.”
Shameless
Art Rooijakkers is shocked by all those stories and confronts Leonie about it. “I hear a common thread: shameless. Whether you’re undressing in front of guests or saying you have to poop right before the broadcast. Where does that come from?”
Leonie: “My father. Yes, totally education this. It looks so deep in there. My grandfather, my father, me. We want to laugh as much as possible.”
Merel Westrik was also allowed to leave a message for Leonie. Great, the reserve bench can also be shaken up again.

Leonie also shows her lover in Art’s show:
