The British decision to supply long-range missiles to Ukraine opens up many perspectives. In this way it makes a reconquest of Crimea a lot less unlikely — and that goes far beyond the interest of Ukraine alone. But the British ‘Storm Shadows’ also raise unpleasant questions for Europe. Or that wants to hand over its own security to countries that turn their backs on the EU and can go along with Russia in terms of norms and values, for example.
