The Cure kicked off their first North American tour in seven years on Wednesday (May 10) with a performance at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans. The band around Robert Smith performed a total of 29 songs, including songs that will be on their forthcoming album SONGS OF A LOST WORLD. Saving the best for last though, during the encore they played “A Thousand Hours” by KISS ME, KISS ME, KISS ME, as well as “Six Different Ways” by THE HEAD ON THE DOOR. Both songs were last played live in 1987.
