The frontman of the Roman band has published a story on Instagram with all the criticisms received
Maneskin frontman, Damian David, ended up at the center of controversy for his new look. Blame”? Exaggerated with tattoos.
Damian criticized
—
The singer of the Roman band, in fact, was heavily criticized in particular for the latest tattoos done in Denmark: three female figures, well-known protagonists of some Japanese hentaii, i.e. the adult version of the classic manga. Damiano, however, did not let the rain of negative messages knock him down and, on the contrary, decided to collect and publish part of them on his Instagram stories: “Poor Damiano, with long hair he was a God! Now you’re ruined, you don’t look like you anymorereads the collage posted by the Maneskin frontman.
the reaction
—
It’s still: “What a horror Damian“, “Free to do what you want with your body. Free us, your supporters of the first hour to say that these mess of tattoos they are awful and you are ruining yourself […] If you continue like this they will only listen to you on the radio because you will become unwatchable”, “They are really ugly”, “Before you were also beautiful, now you are just good, between hair and tattoos you’ve gotten worse“. A series of unflattering comments to which Damiano replied curtly, in the same story: “The famous ‘price to pay'” referring to all the collateral difficulties of being a public figure.
The criticisms also of the tattoo artist
—
Criticisms and negative observations that have not only concerned Damiano David’s personal profile, but that they are also arrived on the tattoo artist’s Instagram profile chosen by the singer for the work. “It’s not a job well done” reads the comments section of the carousel of photos that show Damiano’s new tattoos up close. “Please change jobs!! Three years ago he was a handsome man […] you ruined him!!!” or again “Hair, body destroyed”, “I like tattoos, but his absolutely rejected all”.
victoria’s tattoo
—
Not only Damiano, too Victoria DeAngelis decided to take advantage of dates in Denmark and Luxembourg’s Loud Kids Tour to make a new tattoo. The bassist opted for an inscription on the back of her left hand, made with the pointillism technique, which reads: “Miss Bitch”. A fairly eloquent message, a symbol of his fight against conventions and any form of stigma or taboo imposed by society.
