A stabbing took place at Haydnplein in Heemskerk around 7:45 p.m. According to a police spokesman, one man was slightly injured, the suspect was quickly arrested after what was probably an argument that got out of hand.
The spokesperson tells NH that the victim and the suspect ‘would know each other’. Although the victim had to be checked by paramedics, his injuries were not serious. “He got away with a superficial stab wound and absolutely did not have to go with the ambulance,” said the spokesman.
Caught quickly
Less than half an hour after the stabbing, around 8:10 p.m., the suspect was arrested. This man was taken to the cell complex. The police are still looking for witnesses to the quarrel that got out of hand, or people who have more information in another way.
