Leaders FC Barcelona celebrated a difficult home win on the way to the Spanish soccer championship on Tuesday evening.
In the Primera División game against CA Osasuna, they won 1-0 (0-0) with a late goal from Jordi Alba (85′).
After the red card against Jorge Herrando (27th minute), Barcelona played more than an hour outnumbered, but struggled against the brave defending guests. The German Barça goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen had little to do.
Going into second-placed Real Madrid’s late-night game at Real San Sebastián on Matchday 33, Barcelona are 14 points clear of their capital’s closest rivals.
