57-year-old motorcyclist dies after fatal overtaking maneuver

The accident happened along the Roeselaarseweg in the direction of Torhout. At the Place2Party discotheque, the 57-year-old motard made an overtaking maneuver, but while overtaking the man drove into a center conductor. After the impact, he landed against a traffic sign and was catapulted into a truck from the opposite direction. His motorcycle got stuck between the truck’s tractor and trailer.

Blow not survived
