Man threatens Post NL employee with counterfeit weapon and is arrested by the police

A man from Gieten was arrested on Saturday by a special police unit after it had threatened a Post NL employee and another man from Gieten with a counterfeit firearm.

The PostNL employee had parked his car, but the man from Gieten was not pleased. He gestured that the postal worker was parked incorrectly and banged on the vehicle’s windows.

The postman then drove with a package to the next address across the street and reported on his experience a little earlier. The angry resident did not miss this and crossed the street. He then shouted that he would shoot the postal worker and his street mate ‘for their faggot’ if the postal worker parked incorrectly again and showed his gun.

The police were notified and the man with the weapon was arrested not much later and transferred to the cell complex in Assen.
