Beach House have now released their Record Store Day EP “Become” digitally. Released exclusively on vinyl on April 22nd, the five songs are now available to stream anywhere.
“The ‘Become’ EP is a collection of five songs from the ‘Once Twice Melody’ sessions,” reads a press release. “We didn’t think they fitted into the OTM world, but later realized that they all fit together in their own world. To us, they’re all kind of dirty and expansive (…) It’s not necessarily the direction we’re headed in right now, but definitely one we’ve been in before. We hope you enjoy them,” the duo said ahead of the vinyl release.
It had already been announced that the EP would also be released online after six days. The previous OTM album was released in February 2022. Since 2004, Victoria Legrand and Alex Scally have formed the project from Baltimore, which oscillates between dream pop and indie rock.
