Botic van de Zandschulp will wake up a few times tonight with a fright. The tennis player from Amstelveen was very close to his first ATP title. He lost after three sets to the Dane Holger Rune (7) in Munich: 4-6, 6-1, 6-7.
Van de Zandschulp will be especially disappointed after this final, as he lost four match points. It was also his second final at an ATP tournament. He was also in the final battle against Rune in Munich last year. The tennis player from Amstelveen then had to give up due to breathing problems.
