This change on Twitter has outraged the PSG defender

The social network is undergoing several changes since the arrival of Musk

Twitter is experiencing moments of change. Before Elon Musk bought the social network, the platform had a Free verification system that awarded a blue badge to accounts that belonged to famous people or institutions. A few weeks ago, the businessman decided that if someone wanted to have it, they had to pay.

Elon Musk received several criticisms from celebrities after the announcement of this new measure, and this past Thursday he announced that only has paid the mark Twitter’s blue verification to three celebrities: actor William Shatner, basketball player LeBron James and author Stephen King.

Sergio Ramos, who has lost the blue tick, has expressed his anger with this new measure, and has confessed that the South African does it out of strategy: “Elon Musk, remove the blue badges, force payments and make money is a strategy”, wrote the Paris Saint-Germain footballer.

The defense has ensured that Musk should have other priorities such as closing the accounts of people who publish hate messages: “Eliminating hate, promoting respect and making Twitter a better place could be another. I’m just saying…”

In addition, Sergio Ramos has attached to his ‘tweet’ some screenshots in which you can see posts from users who want the death of the footballer or his family: “I hope your mother, sister, daughter, wife die…”either “The happiest 4 days of my life will be when Ramos dies, when Pilar Rubio dies…”.
