1. Macklin Celebrini, Canada
This moment’s advance favorite for summer 2024 number one reservation. Behind him was a great season in the USHL, where he was already the best player in the league at the age of 16. A truly versatile offensive lineman who is extremely difficult, if not impossible, to find weak points. The concept of the game is absolutely top class, the skill level is high. Skating has also clearly developed over the past year. Able to play fast, but also slow down if necessary. Takes care of the center’s obligations without hesitation. Not the biggest of all, but considering his age and height (180 cm), he is physically quite strong.
2. Andrew Cristall, Canada
Perhaps the most polarizing player of the entire upcoming booking event. Cristall’s pure skills on the puck are top notch, and he plays the game brilliantly at his best. The game perception of the attacking area is at its best an absolute top class. Overall, skating is a weakness. In addition, the grips often vary greatly from match to match and even within matches. However, it is guaranteed to produce results with at least superior strength.
3. Will Smith, USA
Top candidates for the tournament’s most effective player, when you take into account the USA’s easy match schedule. Not particularly fast, and there is still plenty of room for improvement in his work, especially without the puck, but Smith has been the USA’s most efficient passing machine this season. Finds breaking passes excellently and is also very skilled with his hands. Can carry the puck in a position that is suitable for confusing the opponent.
4. Cole Eiserman, USA
After Celebrin, currently the most significant contender for the top name of the summer 2024 booking event. Eiserman doesn’t have Celebrin’s versatility or the ability to create an advantage for his team in every area, but as a scorer he excels thanks to his incredible shot. This season, he broke the USA Development Program’s single-season scoring record. The hands are also diamond shaped. One of the most entertaining players in the tournament.
5. Aron Kiviharju, Finland
In last year’s games, Kiviharju was already the best at its own venue. Now he has a chance to be the best defender of the entire tournament. A supreme master of transition situations, who opens the game brilliantly, but also defends particularly well against direct attacks. The concept of the game is top class. Able to bring added value with his playmaking in the attacking area and is also a clear choice to run the number one advantage. The blade use is excellent, although in speed it gives a handicap against top skaters.
