The fatal accident occurred at about 2:20 a.m. in Avenue Gonda. The victim was a passenger in the vehicle. The 25-year-old driver was arrested for selling narcotics. Cannabis was found in the car, a precision scale and 120 euros. During his interrogation, the man admitted that he had only been selling drugs for a week.
The cause of the accident is not yet known. The Liège public prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation.
