Vrijdag heeft het Overlegcomité besliste om the Mondmaskerplicht for -12-year-old scraps from 19 February. Flemish minister van Onderwijs Ben Weyts (N-VA) hoopt dat de obligation also snel, bijvoorbeeld na de krokusvakantie, kan verdwijnen in het secundair onderwijs. In afwachting daarvan he comes mondmaskerpauzes en mag het mondmasker al af op de speelplaats en bij buitenactiviteiten.
