In the ordinary general assembly of UEFA held in Lisbon on April 4, the current president, Aleksander Ceferin, was re-elected as president.
Ceferin, who entered the congress as the only candidate, will start his third term as UEFA president and will remain in office until 2027. Ceferin was elected as UEFA’s 7th president in 2016. The 55-year-old Slovenian football man was appointed president for the second time in the 2019 election.
ADVISORY BOARD ESTABLISHED
It was stated that UEFA formed an advisory board at its congress in Lisbon and that this board would be consulted on all football-related issues.
In the news in Ntvspor, it was noted that the first meeting of the board will be held in Nyon on April 24, and that former UEFA referee manager Roberto Rosetti and former Milan football player Zvonimir Boban will preside.
It was stated that the board will meet annually and will focus on issues such as the rules, match schedule and UEFA organizations.

In the news, it was pointed out that the people elected to the advisory board were selected according to certain sporting achievements, and it was stated that the experienced player of Galatasaray, Juan Mata, would also take part in the board.
