Former President Donald Trump has pleaded not guilty to 34 charges against him in New York City court. It concerns the falsification of business documents related to the payment of hush money to porn actress Stormy Daniels in 2016. Trump denies and has consistently said that it is a “witch hunt” against him.
NBC News writes that it concerns hush money to two women. Paying hush money is not in itself a criminal offense in the United States, but the way in which it is processed administratively would be, according to American media. It would also be a violation of campaign money rules.
According to NBC, conspiracy is also included in the charges.
