The police recovered a body from the Picccardthofplas in Groningen on Monday afternoon.
The police previously received a report that a body was floating in the middle of the puddle. The Water Calamity Team succeeded in removing the body from the water. The GGD was on site to provide first aid, but the victim turned out to be already deceased.
It is not clear whether a crime has been committed. The police are investigating.
