A 76-year-old man from Halsteren died in an accident on Zeelandweg-Oost (N257) in Steenbergen on Monday morning. The police take into account that he became unwell behind the wheel. The man went off the road with his car and crashed into the guardrails.
The accident happened at the roundabout that connects the road to the A4. Several ambulances and a trauma helicopter were present, but help was of no avail.
