Someone was injured in an accident on the Ceintuurbaan in Meppel this morning just before eight o’clock. The collision was between a sweeper from the municipality of Meppel and a passenger car.
The driver of the sweeper had to be taken to hospital by ambulance. It is not known how the accident happened.
The passenger car was so damaged that it had to be towed. The sweeper was able to drive back to the municipal yard.
