Before the top game against BVB, FC Bayern is all about the coaching earthquake in the previous week. Under the leadership of the longtime bosses Uli Hoeneß and Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, such incidents would certainly not have happened, emphasized Matthäus and added: “Both are missing in their own way.”

The 1990 world champion is therefore not surprised that Bayern fans are “disappointed”.
On Saturday, Nagelsmann’s successor Thomas Tuchel will be on the sidelines for the first time in Munich. With a win in a direct duel with league leaders Borussia Dortmund (from 6:30 p.m.), FCB could not only retake the top spot, but also soothe their own supporters a little after a chaotic few days.
