How to fill a plate with urine

The band teased how this works in their Instagram post: “We worked with local legend @saltydog.records to make the world’s first piss-filled record and it turned out to be really hard. Because of the annoying amount of experimentation it took to make this LP work, we don’t have a physical copy yet, but here’s a video detailing the making of the album.”

The Melbourne band begins their video with each member holding a container of their urine towards the camera. Chris Penney explains of the process that they had to find a “bacterial solution to kill the pee otherwise it would expand and the plates could rupture. I love the idea of the discs breaking open on the shelves and covering all your records in piss and I hope that happens at least once.”

The band also asks their followers in the post: “Don’t use our DNA to commit crimes.”
