The man who was arrested in Friesland on Tuesday evening for a home robbery at the Raadhuislaan in Grootebroek is a 29-year-old man from Bovenkarspel. During the robbery, the suspect assaulted a 65-year-old resident and robbed his money.
The robbery happened just before 7 p.m. in a house on Raadhuislaan, where an office is also located. The victim was slightly injured during the robbery, but called the police herself when the perpetrator fled. An hour after the report of the robbery, the police managed to arrest a suspect in Friesland.
The suspect is in custody and will be questioned by police.
