On May 1st, left-wing fun demonstrators want to “dig the right coal” under the Grunewald villas, said the “My Gruni” initiative about their now traditional satirical demonstration on May 1st.

Alluding to the debates and demonstrations about coal mining in Lützerath, it said ironically: “RWE (Weichtum wird Enteignet) will develop the coal deposits in the Grunewald district. The demolition work in the villa district will begin on May 1, 2023.” Thousands of autonomous miners are expected to break ground at the demolition edge. “Whether Lausitz or Lützerath – for decades the wrong coal was mined.”

The demonstrators announced: “When the last villa is gone, the bucket wheel excavator of the redistribution will penetrate into the white-collar criminal underground of the villa district.” They are happy “about the great understanding of the population in Grunewald”. Democracy always means the “receding of individual interests in favor of social needs”, according to the “RWE spokeswoman Rananden-Speck”.

The former residents would be provided with conversion apartments in Lichtenberg, Neukölln and Marzahn-Hellersdorf. Possible resistance to the dredging of the “capital movement” is foreseeable. “Uniformed and violent activists” can also be expected. “These groups of people are action-oriented and could be influenced by capital terrorism.”

For several years, there have been demonstrations and actions by left-wing groups in the Grunewald on the noon and afternoon of May 1st, some of which are rather colorful and satirical.

Some of the demonstrators will then take part in the usual left-wing and left-wing extremist demonstrations in Neukölln and Kreuzberg in the evening, which are scheduled to take place again this year.
