Valtteri Bottas came last in the Saudi Arabian GP.

From Valtteri Bottas didn’t really succeed in the Saudi Arabian GP.
He started on the 14th grid, but dropped a couple of places already in the first round. After that, the descent continued steadily and in the final results he was the last one, about half a minute behind the second last Lando Norris behind.
– I don’t know what, but there was something in it, Bottas confirmed the suspicions about a technical problem in an interview with Viaplay.
– From the beginning, nothing had momentum. Gotta find the fault. I have a little doubt that in the first round some hit flew in front and went under the car. Maybe there was some damage to the diffuser.
Bottas came quite early to get new tires. That didn’t help either.
– We thought we would try if those tires had better speed. A couple of laps were fine, but then again the same thing and no grip.
– It was quite a long race.
Alfa Romeo now has two weeks to examine the car thoroughly. The truth is that it has lost its opening race position in the F1 middle class. Now it was clearly the slowest car on the track, at least driven by Bottas.
It is noteworthy, however, that the team mate Zhou Guanyu pushed for a significantly better ride than the Finnish one.
– Surely we will find the fault. That wasn’t normal. Australia will definitely be a good weekend and I’m looking forward to it, Bottas concluded.
