Warre Vangheluwe wins YCC
The Youngster Coast Challenge had a top line-up, with the best Belgian teams, but also international toppers-to-be at the start in Bredene, 144 in total. It went very fast with the promises, with an average speed of 46.6 km per hour.
Two men eventually sprinted for the win. Warre Vangheluwe from Meulebeke beat that other West Flemish topper, Alec Segaert, Soudal-Quick.Step ahead of Lotto-Dstny. Gianluca Pollefliet, Segaert’s teammate, was allowed on the podium in Koksijde. Jelle Harteel finished tenth in his home municipality.
