The All-Russian Federation of Athletics denied reports that the acting president of the ARAF, Olympic champion Irina Privalova fell through the ice on the Moscow River.

VFLA press manager Alla Glushchenko called the news fake

“Irina Privalova did not fall through the ice, everything is fine with her,” Glushchenko said on Friday.

Earlier, the REN TV channel reported about the incident with a woman on the river. According to the channel, rescuers pulled the victim out of the water and helped her on the shore.

53-year-old Irina Privalova is the 2000 Olympic champion in the 400-meter hurdles, a multiple world, European, USSR and Russian champion.
