A fire has broken out in a newly built block of flats on Mühlenstraße opposite the East Side Gallery. Two men are suspected of starting the fire.
The fire broke out in an apartment on the fourth floor. The fire brigade is on site with almost 50 emergency services.

According to BZ information, two men were arrested on site. They are strongly suspected of setting the fire.

The fire was quickly brought under control by the fire department. A family had to be cared for and taken care of on site by paramedics. Police are investigating serious arson.
Mühlenstraße is closed in the direction of Friedrichshain due to the fire brigade operation.
