According to a report by Yle, the Finnish Competition and Consumer Agency (KKV) has received about 40 complaints about The Look in the last three years.
Many clients of the clinic have paid for their operation in advance, but it has never been done. Instead, the surgery time has been moved several times.
MOT has interviewed, among other things, a customer who says he paid more than 14,000 euros in advance for liposuction and breast augmentation. The procedure was to be done in Estonia. The surgery time was postponed three times.
Jylhä and his spouse have been in the headlines before because of their crimes.
Among other things, Jylhä has been sentenced in 2007 and 2008 to 11 months and 7 months of suspended imprisonment for gross dishonesty of the debtor, accounting crime and two gross tax frauds.
He has also filed for personal bankruptcy after failing to pay the damages awarded for a years-old car fraud.
Both Jylhä and his spouse I met Valkonen was sentenced to a suspended prison term in April 2021 for crimes related to the beauty business.
Jylhä has also been convicted of doping and money laundering.
