Sam Beukema will make his comeback at AZ tomorrow evening. The defender was injured in January against sc Heerenveen. “He could play fifteen minutes to twenty minutes against FC Groningen,” says coach Pascal Jansen.
Besides Beukema, Zinho Vanheusden was also on the training field for the first time today. It is not yet clear when he will return to the Alkmaarders.

In contrast to Beukema’s return, Yukinari Sugawara is missing. The Japanese took five yellow cards and has to grumble a game. Jansen: “Fedde de Jong is an option as a right back. Another option is of course Pantelis Hatzidiakos. He also played there at the beginning of the season. Another alternative is that you move with Mees de Wit.”
The match against FC Groningen starts tomorrow at 8 p.m.
