Formula E is back on track. After the two inaugural races in Saudi Arabia tomorrow, Saturday 12 February, the race will take place in Mexico City, in the Hermanos Rodriguez del Foro Sol circuit, the same one obtained from the former baseball stadium where Formula 1 runs. , even if on another track, much shorter (2606 meters against 4304). This third race of Season 8 comes with the Italian-Swiss Edoardo Mortara at the top of the standings, with 33 points. The Venturi driver won the second of the two Ad-Diriyah E-prixes.

In which a superiority of Mercedes cars has emerged, both those of the official team and those of the Venturi that from the Stuttgart house are motorized. So much so that the two drivers of the official team, authors of a double in race 1, are the closest rivals of Mortara: the reigning world champion Nyck deVries is second with 29 points, Stoffel Vandoorne third with 28. And at the fourth place is the other man-Venturi, or Lucas Di Grassi, with 25 points, paired with Jake Dennis (Andretti). Di Grassi who, moreover, at Hermanos Rodriguez has already won twice (with Audi), in 2017 and 2019.
