From the moment Loes and Wichian first met at the altar, things seemed to be going well between the newlyweds. There was laughter, a lot of talking and especially the looks that the two exchanged said more than a thousand words. The bond between Loes and Wichian gradually became the MAFSadventure only stronger, so that both dared to reveal their feelings. For example, Loes confessed during their honeymoon that she started to like Wichian, which turned out to be mutual. But there was no love yet.
Wichian also stood behind his partner during the so-called couples weekend. Loes was not feeling well and therefore decided to return home. Wichian clearly had a hard time with that. In tears, he told the rest of the group that he was left alone. But no matter how annoying the situation was; Loes and Wichian continued to support each other.
It was therefore no surprise that the couple revealed in the denouement of the program on Tuesday evening that they wanted to continue together. “I thought love didn’t exist. But Loes, you have proven the opposite. You are not an addition, but an addition to my life”, said Wichian. “I look forward to a future together and that is why I would love to stay married to you.”

But despite the nice ending in Married at first sight, Loes and Wichian are no longer together. ,,The last piece was missing”, Loes explains to this site. ,,Wichian is a golden guy, I really have nothing to criticize him. He is great. But for me it’s the last piece that’s missing. As much as I want. Of course I miss him and I want to cuddle with him on the couch, but that’s not enough. I also lacked attraction and I really struggled with that. But a relationship ultimately needs more.”
For Wichian, the break came ‘like a bolt from the blue’. He would have liked to see his relationship with Loes succeed. “I had to let it sink in. Then you see all those nice reactions and the images passing by, yes, then something snapped in me.” Loes knows that she hurt him with the decision to end their relationship. “That’s the last thing I wanted. But at some point, decisions have to be made,” she says.
Yet Loes and Wichian are still good friends. “We both know it took more than what we had. But it doesn’t feel like failure now, because you are closing something together that was very nice,” says Wichian. “And actually still is”, the two conclude.
