To celebrate its 25th anniversary, Daryl Hall & John Oates’ Marigold Sky will be re-released on March 25th. The new edition contains three bonus tracks and will be released as an extended CD, on vinyl (2 LPs) and digitally for the first time.
“I consider ‘Marigold Sky’ to be the lost album,” says Daryl Hall of the re-release. “Fans have been asking me about this for years. I’m really proud of these songs and excited that it’s getting a worldwide re-release.” Adds John Oates, “I’m so excited that Marigold Sky is finally out worldwide. It’s a unique and cool album and I hope fans old and new really enjoy it.”
A familiar mix of soul, rock and pop
The album, first released in 1997, contains the singles “Promise Ain’t Enough”, “Romeo Is Bleeding” and “The Sky Is Falling”, embedded in soul, rock and pop arrangements.
